THE FOUR PHASES: WTF IS HAPPENING?

1. Menstrual Phase (Day 1-5)– “The Reset"

What’s Happening: Uterus shedding, estrogen & progesterone at rock bottom, energy low, body clearing house.
Symptoms: Fatigue, cramps, heavy flow, emotional release.
Support: Warm, iron-rich foods (bone broth, beets, lentils), magnesium, ginger tea, REST.

2. Follicular Phase (Day 6-14) – “The Comeback”

What’s Happening: Estrogen rising, energy surging, brain firing on all cylinders.
Symptoms: Glowy skin, stable mood, feeling social, metabolism speeds up.
Support: Protein + good fats (eggs, avocado, salmon), leafy greens, strength training, creativity flow.

3. Ovulation (Day 14-18) – “The Main Event”

What’s Happening: Estrogen peaks, testosterone kicks in, body says ‘BABY TIME’ (whether you like it or not).
Symptoms: Libido UP, high energy, confident AF, cervical mucus changes.
Support: Zinc, vitamin C, antioxidant-rich foods (berries, dark chocolate), hydration.

4. Luteal Phase (Day 19-28) – “Why Am I Crying?!”

What’s Happening: Progesterone rises, estrogen drops, body preps for possible pregnancy.
Symptoms: PMS, bloating, cravings, irritability, rage-y for no reason.
Support: Magnesium, B6, fiber (flaxseeds, nuts), calming herbs (chamomile, lavender), and NOT punching people.
